Notre Dame (is a) Joke

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

A guy walks into a bar in South Bend wearing a Notre Dame jersey and carrying a cat that also has a Notre Dame jersey on with a little Fighting Irish helmet on his head, too.

The guy says to the bartender, “Can my cat and I watch the Notre Dame game here? My TV at home broke down and my cat and I always watch the game together”.

The bartender replies, “Normally, cats wouldn’t be allowed in the bar, but it’s not very busy in here right now, so you and the cat can have a seat at the end of the bar. But, if there’s any trouble with you or the cat, I’ll have to ask you to leave.”

The guy agrees, and he and his cat start watching the game. Pretty soon The Fighting Irish manage to kick a field goal and the excited cat jumps up on the bar, walks all the way down and gives everyone a high five.

The bartender says, “Hey, that’s pretty cool! What does he do for a touchdown?” The guys answers, “I don’t know, I’ve only had him for 3 years.”

  1. Yikes! *ROFL*

  2. Notre Dame football is still a big joke and I don’t understand why they are still on T.V. all the time! Who cares?!

  3. They’re still on TV because the Notre Dame Broadcasting Company signs them to an exclusive deal, which gives them way too much money to do stupid things like sign Weis to a long term contract he doesn’t deserve forcing them to be hypocrites.
